Default Heads, & Cam

I thought I'd be done w/my car by now, but...it seems the modification bug won't let go yet !

I've been looking a lot a the SHO webpage, & seriously thinking I want a set of heads, & a mild street cam. Not necessarily from them, but I would like to know some thoughts on these modifications such as:

1) How much rwhp am I looking to gain w/these two modifications

2) What kind of problems can I run into by upgrading w/these modifications

3) What are the more reputable brands out there for heads, & cams. I've been seeing a lot of you all go on about VT, or Comp, but, well...feedback please.

i have the SHM stage 1 heads and the SHM hot street/strip N/A cams. i gained somewhere between 40-45rwhp. with a tune of course.

no problems with the setup, but you will need a tune after that. you will also have to get use to the rough idle(i love it now).

Well, first off...w/a 'D'ohc motor, you are going to need 4 cams. Heads very between $1700-$3300 that I've seen, & a cam is going to run between $500-$600, so you are looking at $3600 for a set of heads, & cam'S' for your Mach 1 at least. Far as labor...depends on the hourly rate of the shop you go to. Some say 3hrs w/proper tools, others 8hrs. I have a buddy who owns a shop, so I always pay next to nil when it comes to getting stuff done. Plus I help out too.
