Default help! need quick help.

hey guys, just got done changing the coolant. was leaking from bottom of thermostat housing a little. so i changed the o ring, filled up & ran for a little bit. still leaking a little. i KNOW it's not the intake runner. just on the bottom of thermo housing. thermostat sits in it's hole, then o ring on top, then housing. think it would hurt to take back off & put some gasket sealer on thermo housing?
