LT's are illegal in some states, such as Cali.
For the MOST part, a lot of states don't have a problem with the long tube headers, just the o/r mid-pipes that people like to accompany them with. I know here in NJ, LT's are fine, its just my o/r X that is illegal.

Anything is legal as long as you don't get caught. I don't know how bad they are with checking stuff like that where youre from, but in Louisiana as long as your CEL is not on you get a sticker.
