I would guess it all matters what your trying to achieve. I voted for the vortech because its gunna be cheaper than a kenne bell and also i dont what to get into doing an all forged motor for my daily driver. But its up to you the route you wanna take.

ATI Procharger. Intercooled kit for $3800. Will give you the most HP/$$. Stock GT's will see about 370-400 RWHP with the addition of a Intercooled Procharger.

I said procharger just because Im assuming you're buying brand new. You can get a brand new procharger w/ intercooled for the same price as a vortech w/o aftercooler.

well this isn't gonna be my daily driver forever, when i fix my jeep i'll drive it most of the time before i get some kind of crappy car that i don't have to pay much on. I want as much power as i can get.

I'd say the procharger kit (P1-sc I think) they did a write up in June issue (pg 76)of 5.0 & super ford on a mostly stock (except SLP power pack) 02 GT and I think it dynoed an additional 126 rwhp. That is the next thing im gonna do when I get my home equity loan. Im also considering a 4v swap.
