my h pipe is leaking and i get 150 miles on 1 tank... 16 gallon tank...

150/16 = 9mpg.... so sad..

and my daily driver now is a 99 tahoe
250 miles on 20 gallon tank...

250/20 = 12.5mpg... even sadder.
9 mpg froma leaking h-pipe. I think you might have another problem, unless you have a gaping hole in you h pipe.

yea when i put the headers on my car IT SOUNDED LIKE S***. also i cruised it down the street real quick and it took forever. put them on with no cats and itll be quite loud.

its leaking from the driver side H to Header hookup yes theres a huge gap there.

Open headers means no aft o2 sensors, meaning your car would run like crap. You can't hook cheater MIL's to something that isn't there. It is a very very bad idea. Take all of our advice.

it's the kind of thing you only do on a full all out drag car... that only sees a 1/4 mile pass and then it rests... even then usually they have some sort of exhaust beyond the headers
