Adjusting air/fuel mixture. When you get the nitrous installed, the shop will make all adjustments needed to run.

My friend has the 3.73s in his 1989 mustang gt taht he just bbough..the gears have not been in very long and he just upgraded to 4.10s he wants to sell me the 3.73 for 65 bucks. canb i use these gears or will they not work cuz mine is a 2001 gt

Should work fine. Its still a 8.8" rear-end. But I wouldnt buy used gears...and also go with 4:10s you will like them alot more (from what I hear).

You need a tune, need to use the proper plugs...

Anyways, $500 or so for a gear install with everything isn't horrible.

got mine yesterday put on for 300.... and even that is considered high, I would say shop around,theres bound to be someone charging lower with good quality work
