Default high reving NA setup

ive been thinking about staying NA, maybe getting stage 2 cams and heads but im not really sure about what else ill need and how much it will cost. is 350hp at the wheels a realistic goal????

very realistic in my opinion. depending on the heads and cams ive seen a 60 hp increase. i think its doable. its good to see someone else looking for it the hard way. im also looking for 350 NA

You've got a Mach right? I guess with full bolt-ons and semi-radical cams you should make some decent power. Not sure about 350 at the wheels though.

From stock that means you have to pickup another 100+HP or so. Might be cheaper to go s/c.

i think 350 is definitely realistic for a mach. it's going to cost a lot more money, but if you're not worried about that, you can do it

Talk to Code3gt. He has a N/A which dyno's at 342 rwhp. He has A LOT of money put into that car. To get close to 350 HP you are gonna be spending over 10g if you go N/A. You need a bottom end on that motor that will handle the high revs with a big cam. The bigger cams have a powerband that goes allt he way up to 7000 or so RPM's. Your stock bottom end will only handle about 6000 RPM, so you are gonna need forged internals, better intake (P-51 from Fox Lake is what I recommend), ported and polished heads, and probably a bigger cam than a stage 2, some type of grind in between a stage 2 and 3 or just go to a stage 3 cam grind. You would be best off buying a built shortblock w/ forged internals to start off. Honestly, if you don;t wann go much above 375-400 RWHP a supercharger would be the best route. If you wanna get more than 400 RWHP then you should buy a built shortblock, do cams and head work, new intake, and then supercharger. But that all depends on how far you plan on taking it. A supercharger will run you $4g's, which is much less than the cost of getting 350 HP N/A, and will give more HP. But if you don;t want that, just expect to spend a lot of $$$$$.
