k..

when my GT (96) only had a catback exhaust (stock h pipe, stock everything else..)

I got it dyno'd at 180 and 182 rwhp (i forget the torque)

now before my clutch started going, I was getting 14.9 qtr miles off that.

with my nitrous, zex wet 75 shot,

I was dyno'd at 238 rwhp and 355 torque and got 14.1 qtr mile

I can't feel 5 or 10 rwhp difference ever.. i BARELY feel my nitrous kicking in, even though it's almost a second difference. and that's an extra 100+ torque and 60 or so hp.

also keep in mind every car is different.. how the engine was broken in, how it's maintained.. etc..

I haven't lost to a stock GT mustang yet.. and ive raced over 15 in the last year.. foxbody or sn95.. i didnt bother racing pi gt's until i got my nitrous

96 and 97 GT Stangs are 215hp. The 98 has 225hp. There's a difference bro. You can't compare apples to oranges.

96 - 97 and 98 all dyno the same , that "220hp!" was ford trying to push sales before the launch of the 1999 GT , who wants a 98 Gt when the 99 GT would be coming out , Ford gave buyers some incentive.

ALSO - just found a dyno sheet of a 2001 stang with a SLP LM2 cat back. It dynoed 233.74 and 276.08 ftlbs

what do they dyno stock?

Is that why he said his dynoed at 180 and i've seen 3 98s STOCK dyno at 191?? Hmm riiiiight I can't help but laugh that there is not a single post on this site that does not end in an arguement.

to reply to the original post, you will not even run a quarter mile time at all, until u take it to the track and find out!!!!

seriously though, i understand the point of the post. im gonna say a low 14 if you can get the tires to hook, and your a good driver. this is just what i think, probably not correct, but run it and find out, and for gods sake, post a timeslip!

good luck man.

the new edge manuals come with like 225rwhp give or take... I doubt that, that your dyno sheet is just the catback exhaust - if catback gave everyone 12rwhp alone w/that sound - everyone would have that slp...
