I have a K & N sticker.................. thats like 20 hp alone..
Haha I have MAC full length headers, off road powerchamber and flowmasters.. I also have an K & N cold air. As far as seat of the pants.. you can tell a little difference.. no 50 hp or anything.. However, the RPM's jump a lot quicker.
As far as K&N's go.. my friend put one on his LS1 SS at a dyno and made an additional .5 horsepower.. actually not bad for 30 bucks considering a throttle body/plenum will cost 250 bucks and make 3- 5 hp.

the new edge manuals come with like 225rwhp give or take... I doubt that, that your dyno sheet is just the catback exhaust - if catback gave everyone 12rwhp alone w/that sound - everyone would have that slp...

yeah well this is all fine and dandy...
but sadly i love my 96
and the only way to start to compete is to do a PI swap
otherwise your really just leaving an buttload of "potential" laying around.
so go ahead and do the PI swap if you really want some power/lower ET's
oh by the way, the Redheaded Step Child from MM&FF was a modified car,
unless you have those same mods dont except the same results....
