Different tires on Front than back??
Sorry if this is a stupid question but I was thinking about buying 17x8 rims and 18x10's and buying tires with the 18's but use my stock tires for the front wheels??? is that alright to do? (they would be differnt brands/kinds of tires) could u do this?(Thinking about doing this cuz of little cash haha...) Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

you can do that. i've been considering 17x8 and 18x10 or 17x10.5 in the rear as an alternate to welds. as long as the tread patterns are not drastically different if they are not the same tire, it shouldn't look bad. as far as functionality you'll be fine.

I plan on 17x9 front and 17x10.5 rear. 275s front/315s rear. 18s will force you into a shorter side wall. That's good for carving corners, but with less side wall to flex, you spin the rears easier.
