I put in my steeda short throw and i took my time did it right, but it seems it has a gear noise like a whine of sorts anyone else have this issue?

 

Did you read the directions that cam with the Steeda shifter. It says right in there that there will be more noise with a short throw than the stock shifter. You can eliminate a lot of this noise if you get one of CobraBob's shifter gaskets, I don;t have the website of the top of my head but the gasket is like $6 shipped and gets rid of a lot of that noise, but the noise is perfectly normal. If you read the installation instructions oyu would know that.

I cant wait to hear about how you destroy you're car thinking like that. It actually takes a bigger "man" to admit you don't know everything and follow directions.. amazing concept!

i have a steeda tri-ax also. It makes alot more noise than the stock shifter and I put some silicon black on it to help reduce the noise. It did help alot but when i put on my offroad h pipe you cant even hear the shifter anymore

 

Acually it didnt have instructions i got it off ebay. was asking for answers not a dick head answer not everyone is as smart as you, just dont answer next time.
