i installed flowmaster american thunder cat backs on sat. now whenever i get out of the car after driving around there is a weird smell. i looked underneath to make sure that nothing is burning, and it looks like i have good clearances around the pipes and mufflers. it almost smells like burning clutch or brakes, but im sure it's neither. i had the drivers side muffler to tailpipe connection welded because i screwed up the clamp on that side (maybe flux burning off or something?) has anyone else had a similair problem?

Every car I've ever had I've welded the complete exhaust system in. Usually for about 2 weeks after I get it done it will smell funny. No big deal. Kinda smells like burned cheese or something.

yea thats normal, mine only lasted about a week or 2, no biggie

I got a slight smell but not too bad when I put on my catback. When I put on my MAC catted H, it smelled like my car was on fire. Had to do with the coating they put on the MAC exhaust products.
