Default Future Mods

Hello all, this is my first post. I have a Oxford White 2003 Mustang GT 4.6 2V Auto. I have the following mods done so far:

Fender Wall CAI
Flowmaster 40's CatBack
SCT Tune XCal 2 (Mustang Tuning Tune)
4:10 Gears

Future Mods:

MAC Long Tube Headers
MAC O/R (No Cats) H-Pipe
T-Body/Plenum
Venom 100 Nitrous Shot
Nitto 555R 275/45/17 DR

I have run the following in the 1/4 Mile:

60FT: 2.07
330FT: 5.9
1/8: 9.11 @ 77.96 MPH
1/4: 14/1 @ 97.10 MPH

This run was before my 4:10 gears. Ran out of steam at 80 mph with stock gears, I'm hoping to run a 13.7 or 13.8 with my 4:10s at over 100 mph maybe 101 or 102mph with the gears. Just wanted to intruduce myself to all of you!!!!

Probably because they fit on the stock wheels. Should be 275/40/17 though not 45.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the replies, i meant a 275/40/17 not 45's my bad. I don't think it is good to run bigger then a 275 on a stock rim. I don't want to get the 10 inch rims because i've heard its bad for drag racing. My car is for Drag racing really. I own 2 other cars and my ZX10R (05) Which I drag also. The best i've run on that so far being stock wheelbase is a 10.2 @ 142mph. I wanted a semi fast car to work on my drag racing abilities with a car, plus Mustangs are the best car!!!!!! My mother owned a 65, and a 72 so I wanted to get a mustang. I'll tell you a little about myself, I'm 33 years old, been in the Army for 12 Years, I've been to Iraq I was into Communications for 9 years, and now i'm a NBC NCO for a Battalion. I will be going to Drill Sergeant school or 75th Ranger Regiment within the next year. I've been haning out at Mustang Tunning Forums for the last 3 months, ever since I've bought my Stang (Feb). I just want to hit low 12's within a Year. Thanks again for the comments.

ok all that makes sense but i dont understand why a wider rim would be BAD for drag racing. i think bigger wheel means bigger tire which means it hooks better. im no mustang stud but thats my take. nice bike by the way- i have a gixxer
