my cigarette lighter has no power. i put in my short shifter about a week ago and no my lighter has no power. i checked to make sure that it was plugged in and it is, i changed the fuse and still it doesnt work. what could it be...

 

Well you disconnected it to take off the center console to put your shifter in, my guess is that you didn't plug it in all the way.

yellow you have a multi reader?? check voltage and also make sure that the ground is still in place. i believe your ground will run from the lighter up to a common ground behind the radio

 

If it worked before and it doesnt now. My guess is one you didnt plug it back in all the way, or you shorted it out somehow. But you said you plugged it in all the way and the fuse wasnt burnted. So only thing to do now is check the voltage
