i agree, id rather put 200 towards the motor, but if hes looking for a shifter, i wouldn't buy crap that people are going to see, why not spend it on something that actually looks good
I guess you are entitled to your opinion. In my opinion the B&M shifter looks like crap. I would have bought one if it wasn't sitting on the cheap looking base. I haven't seen anyone with one in a 94-04 stang. Probably because it doesn't look natural in the spot reserved for the stock shifter base.

How did you install it, i thought it was suppose to screw off and i was like damn its hard.

the only cutting I had to do was the rubber sleeve around the shaft.
