RE: Handheld Tuners???
Well, you can get a dyno tune with a handheld tuner, its really just a dyno run after you program the tuner. A dyno tune really usually uses a chip that is programmed to specific areas that your car needs to improve on. Think of it this way, a Diablo lets say, is like a general tune for all mustangs, where as a pro dyno tune from a speed shop is a tune just for your car with whatever specific parts you have. Both work but one just a little better than the other.

wait, I thought a dyno tune was used with a dyno and a handheld tuner...am I just being retarded? Also, I am getting a diablosport from a guy here for $200. That's why I jumped on it.

RE: Handheld Tuners???
It really depends on the shop and how they have set-up their dyno costs and what type of programmer they use. My guy says that a chip with 4 banks comes with one free program and I need another for the juice so two programs for about 540.00 out the door. Each program is an hour on the dyno. Thats not a bad deal considering a Diablo is what like 400.00 something?

bsteen81, $200 is not an unusually low price for a used Predator.
