Im looking to put wider tires on my 04' stang. Does anybody know the greatest width i could get without having to change anything else on my car such as the breaks??? and does anybody have any good suggestions about brand? The car is used for daily summer driving

You can do 275 on 9" on the front and 315 on the rear with 10.5 rims (assuming 17 inch wheels). If you have any rubbing in the rear, it will most likely be the quad shocks. If you replace the control arms, you can ditch the dampers.
