How do you make a stang sound like this?
So my buddy has a 2000 GT vert and it has the sexiest sound ever. On starup, you hear the throaty growl as it struggles to not stall out, and then it immediately goes from the throaty sound i've come to expect to a mustang to like a high pictched whine (its NA, not supercharged i know that for a fact) or humming noise, and it stays like that, until you hit the throttle then it combines that loud whine with the growl i've come to love that can be heard at least half a mile from my house.
does anyone ahve any idea what he's done to the car to make it sound like that? I'm thinking of getting a stang and want to know what it would cost to get it to sound just like his.
I have an E36 M3 that's turbocharged to 12psi putting 412 to the wheels, but i'm a home grown detroit boy and i've always been drawn to muscle, so its out with the old, in with the new(er)

y dont you just ask him? LOL
but it sounds like he has chambered mufflers and probably an aftermarket H-pipe
the "start-up" sound is also probably an aftermarket camshaft

the best sounding exhaust i have heard on a stang is leaving the 4 cats on and ripping off the mufflers- put on 3 inch tips out the back... what a growl-but doesnt do anything for HP
