Default CAM QUESTION

Hi guys! ok, first off i can Not afford a supercharger! I was thinking of dropping a couple of new cams in my 2002 gt. Which ones would give the best lope for my buck?? I am looking for more of a killer sound than anything. What kind of hsp can i get by switching out my cams? My engine is stock except for a cold air kit, chip, exhaust, gears. Thanks!

Any stage one cam would do well. Stage two would make it difficult to drive given your mods. Comp cams XE262AH13 is a good option. You can also check out vtengines.com.

If you can't afford a S/C, you might want to rethink your options. In order to get a nasty set of cams and really see the full potential of those nasty cams...the associated parts and mods will far exceed the cost of a S/C. Just something to think about. Speed, HP and killer sound does NOT come cheap, especially when dealing with a 4.6 2V.

Of course, like ice cream, there is always room for juice. A 100 shot would do it. Hey code, do I get to be a contributor?

Oh, hell. I didn't know that and I didn't take any. Well, when I do the exhaust I'll snap shots off of everything. BTW, the exhaust is on hold until the O2 extensions arrive. Seller said I didn't need them, but everyone else says yes, so.... Thanks bro.

I'm doing the mid pipe and cat back very soon, but mine's new edge, so it may be a little different. You should submit it either way. Good luck.
