ORIGINAL: 02KBGT
My Mechanic built a 4.6l with a Kenne bell at 14psi, pulley swap, supporting fuel mods, intake/exhaust and a built rear end on stock heads/cams that dyno'd at over 700hp and its been working fine till this day..
im swapping my tranny out for a manual..working on my rear end so it wont snap and then tuning my car and hoping to get somewhat the same results, and i have stock heads and cams..ill let you know if my car blows up lmao!

There is absolutly no chance you can make this kind of power on a stock shortblock.
In fact, I can say with 99 percent confidence that the guy is completely bull****ting you. 14 PSI is not enough boost to make 700 RWHP, let alone do that on the stock heads/cam. I cannot see even a completely built car (shortblock, heads/cams/intake and a centri making 700 WHP on 14 PSI. Hell, you won't even make 700 to the flywheel. There just isn't enough boost there.
MPH always seems to get the absolute most out of their blower cars, and they managed to make 601 WHP on a boltons/cam'd/shortblock paxton car. A centri car will have a higher RWHP peak number than a KB 99.99 percent of the time.
Once again, it is completely impossible to make 700 horsepower (fly or wheel) on the stock shortblock. 440~ WHP is about the limit to the stock shortblock. Anything over 450 is just a matter of time before something lets go.
