you would see me park at walmart and spending the next 10 mins trying to figure out how to back my car out the fking lot and people staring at you like WTF? c'mon are you going to back out or what? =P and im trying and trying and the peoplke see my reverse lights go on and off... LOL

Yeah, the Steeda Tri-Ax is defiitely a VERY notchy shifter, but you have to take advantage of its durability and retaining pins which prevent damage to the fork on the transmission. If you have a T-45 and have these installed, then don't be afraid to hit that thing hard to get it in gear! It's metal on metal!

In my experiences...I prefer the Tri-Ax to any Hurst short shifter or anything of the like. Although I haven't tried many, the Tri-Ax is definitely a step up from the STOCK shifter.

If you have that issue, put it into fourth or fifth and then try putting it into Reverse, always works for me.

Hitting it hard is what makes it NOT go into third, i can hit second and fourth hard with nor probs...third just likes to be a hobag

i think there might be a problem with the spring mechanism that actually "positions" you shifter to slide into 3rd gear with ease... when u set the shifter in neutral and u tap it upwards, the gear should slide in without any notchyness...
