Default Air Silencer

I removed the air silencer on my 04 GT and I could tell a good difference. The sticky for that was really good and easy to follow the directions so props for that. I went to go test drive it and it even sounded a little better too along with a better throttle pickup. The only thing I was worried about was that as I was about to park it, it came a flood on me and I was afraid if water was more likely to get in there now that the silencer is off? Comments are welcome.... thanks guys.

Only if you drive through water deep enough to flow in.

That was another question I had too... how often do you have to change the filter now?

If you continue to use a paper filter then I would suggest checking it every time you change your oil. If it is excessively dirty then you should replace it. However, I would suggest going with a high flow filter like K&N. You get better performance with them and when it gets dirty you simply clean it, re oil it and put it back in.
