hi I'm new to the forum and had a question. I was looking through mm&ff looking for forged rotating assemblys(pistons,rods and crank chaft) but i can't find anything for the 4.6. I don't want a stroker kit because i'm going to add a sc when I get the rods, pistons, ect.

also if I lower the compressing to 8.5:1 and put on a sc will I still pass smog?
or
if I did a stroker kit and a sc can i still pass smog?

You live in the most evil state.......ever. I think if no one can answer your question, a local speed shop might have some more experience w/ that.

You can buy a lot of 4.6 parts there, including rods and pistons. They're pricey, but it's a 4.6, so oh well. I don't know about the supercharger thing. I live in California, and I think if you keep the boost to a moderate level you should pass smog, but don't take my word for it.
