Default maf sensor

curious about a maf sensor will a lightning sensor work on my car just pluging it in so i can run 24lb injectors
or should i look for a mustang maf for a 99 gt cal'ed to 24lb injectors or is there an easier way

You don't need to change the MAF unless you go with a SC. The stock MAf is more than suficent to handle the air flow of a stock Mustang. You will be throwing your $ away.

Just curious, why would you want 24lb injectors? Thats a pretty minimal step up, and to spend the money, you might as well spend a little more and then you wont have to worry about upgrading again in the future.

stock injectors are only 19s, i dont see how the slight jump to 24lbs would call for anything drastic. you could get the lightning maf for the hell of it, ive run it without a blower. you need a tune for it and the injectors though. i wouldnt switch to 24lbs, id stay with the 19s unless youre running a blower. but if you have to, get the lightning maf from frpp for like 80$ and get a tune for your setup.

Im running the Lighting MAF and I love it. Fixed all my issues. But yea it will work on your car.
