Just got my predator in and i got a question
How hard is it to install the tune that came with it, or should i wait to go to a dealer to custom tune it to my mods, or should i just install the tune that came with it to my car right now and what needs to be done to do that...thanx

its easy to install the tune they give in the tuner, just plug it in and its step by step, then once its done if you wanna ump the timing up or change your limiters or fans and what not just select modify tune and go from there

ok thanx man...even after the canned tune i have to run 93 octane correct ? Also since im an auto what you recommend setting the shift firmness at and what not

yes use premium gas , I have a TKO tranny i wouldnt know about the firmness, but when you set the firmness take it for a ride, see how you like it... change it again and make it firmer you might like it more lol i dunno bout auto's

with the diablo "canned tune" installed i was making 223RWHP, once i took it off and had the air/fuel and timing adjusted on the dyno, i made 250RWHP......the diablo tune was killing my performance...install it and try it, if it feels a little slower , it probably is! With the diablo tune installed even with my 4.10s i got beat in a race by my friend in a 99GT auto with just a CAI, 3.55's and catback, I GOT WALKED by like 5 cars[:@][:@]

Sounds like Hypertech's tune as well. BTW, I have a Hypertech Power Programmer for sale if anyone wants it....
