Stock Pistons/Rods: Maximum HP

What are the Stock Pistons and Rods good up to? [Cobra/GT] I would hate spending the few hundred buck only to push a few extra ponies when the stocker could have done it fine.

(ex. 8-12lbs boost)

there is no set #....my 96 was doing 460rwhp just fine, and there are plenty of guys doing over 500...a few guys even doing over 600rwhp. just keep in mind your gt has a weaker crank

Perhaps i'll be giving vortech a place in my savings...that or I can do something with some of the spare turbo parts I had from my last project
