Default idle problem

Im having a problem with my 2000 mustang gt. Whenever im sitting in park mode or even waiting at the lights, seems like the car is going to die on me.Ex.When in park mode the engine revs up then goes down like the car is almost going to shut off. Does anybody have a clue what the problem is?<IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0"> <edited><editID>cristos</editID><editDate>37779.6091782407</editDate></edited>

Default idle problem

My truck did that for a little bit, I changed the spark plugs and put some injector cleaner into my gas and it fixed it right up....

check ur idle air control valve. those things are notorious for sticking on 4.6's. i replaced mine and that helped fix my idling problem.
