Im about to order a HID kit for my 01 stang and was wondering if the kits are legal. I know some cars have hids straight from the factory but was wondering about people getting pulled over with the different colors like 8000k (blue) or 10000k (purpleish) thinking about getting a set from stangmods.com Any feedback on HIDS or about colors, or getiing pulled over is helpful. thanks

Dont know much about them, but I heard you need some kind of projector lenses to go with them so they don't blind the **** out of people. Someone will know for sure though.

because ricers put them on their cars for the bluish tint and they are much much brighter from factory hid's. if you dont have projector headlights or some type or headliight that focases the light ahead besides making it bounce all around it wont do any good for you. read this
