They look pretty nice. If my stang didn't have stripes from the factory I'd probably get stripes all the way down. Baltimore Street Mods at least USED to be a sponsor to the site, not sure if they are now... I got my side decals from them, quality stuff.
Edit: Here's a (poor) picture of the side decals on my stang:

Well you already got my reply... I like them because the stang looks too plain without some type of stripes... which is why I have the side stripes. Some people on the forums here don't like them, but I think it looks too plain without them. I'm thinking of removing them at this point anyway, they were so cheap it isn't an issue.
Just go for them! They aren't permanent and the cost isn't too bad. Keep them for 6 months to a year, if you still like them and they're in good condition keep em, otherwise take em off and pitch em.

Yes, which explains why they are so ugly... I was in a rush, and wished I would have taken more time. They're slightly uneven among other mistakes... Otherwise if I had just taken more time, it would have looked much nicer. If anything, carefully measure how much you're actually going to need (be sure to fold a little extra over around the edges, even if it's not visible), and practice with the extra vinyl with lining it up and getting it straight and whatnot before you apply it on the stang... Use a board or a piece of sheet metal or something for practice. After the first time it's real easy and you won't make the same mistakes.
