Default powershifting

Just wondering if there are any tips, or if it's just something yo ugotta learn

Tonight comin home I tried a conservative powershift 1st to 2nd and I love the lurch forward and the tire screeching and getting sideways!

Didn't try into 3rd, I don't like the stock shifter throw it's too long. Maybe I'll try after I get a short throw

man monkeydude there are so many limitations to a 5 or 6 speed for that matter because perfect shifts require little or no error. I think even with alot of practice you will still have mishaps; I know I do

It's different on every car. You just have to be able to time your clutch release with your arm's shift. Some people even keep pressure on the accelerator while powershifting, that will kill a stock tranny.

that's cool, it was like a 4900-5100 rpm that's what i mean by conservative, I wasn't redlining. I 'took my time' if you even can with a powershift, but it felt really good. I figure I just have to really learn to shift to do it right... and with this engine I dont wanna be revving it that much cuz it's getting weak

I figure a short throw will help the 2nd-3rd situation

I don't plan to do it a lot... primarily while racing. 90% of my driving is just cruising

and I should have a beater this year!! ::sigh::

Guess you got the cable fixed.

For now if you keep trying to powershift!!

Watch out, you'll have someone else sayin that you burned up the street in front of their house.
