Hey, I just bought sylvania cool blue headlight bulbs and they aren't blue. They are still yellow. I was told to take off the little cap/reflector thing that goes over your bulbs. Does anyone know how you get in there to take them off?

youre asking for trouble. Just buy some hyper white halogens , their expensive but they wont loo yellow.

Are you sure you don't know how to take the reflectors off? I spent $50 on the cool blues

i think if you take the front lense off you have to glue it back with some sturdy stuff since its not ment to be removed. I dont have stock headlights soooo Iam not 100%


but if they look yellow then... they should always look yellow. Try and return them

Yeah acutally i think I'm better off just buying a whole new assembly. Do your headlights have that reflective cap? Cause maybe i just need to try a different bulb that will be blue even with the reflector on.

i don't think taking that reflector thing off would make much of a difference, i have silverstars and they're just a tad whiter than the Phillips bulbs i had before
