Squeaky Clutch

Squeaky Clutch
When my clutch pedal is let out, with no pressure against it, the thing is squeaking. It is supposed to be a new clutch. Could that be caused by being out of adjustment or is it something else. The clutch is engaging almost to the floor so i am going to get it adjusted tomorrow, but i dont know if that will have any effect on it or not. What do u guys think? Thanks, Robert

RE: Squeaky Clutch
Like bvballer12 said, throwout bearing. I got my clutch replaced and it was doing the same thing when you let the pedal out, a slight squeak. When it was replaced, the flywheel was resurfaced, and of course clutch and throwout bearing replaced.

RE: Squeaky Clutch
I don't if you don't change it right away you could do more damage I just know first hand how annoying the "squeaking sound" is! To me it seamed that the squeaking was as loud as the exhaust!
