you can go to most auto shops (repair) pay them 40 and they will scan it for you.... doesnot sound like the problem i had sence you can get it running when mine died it woundnt keep going unless i held the gas down and kept it at 3k because it was running only on one side of the engine so hopefully you are ok just go and find out what it is... you can also by a code reader for about 100 bucks kragen called obd 2 code reader....

Tow fee??? WHO CARES ABOUT THE TOW FEE, IT COST HIM A TANK OF GAS!!! hehe, it was probabally more than a tow fee

could be the new fuel pump put a fuel pressure guage then u will know for sure and u can have it for future problems or mods

My car did some similarly strange sh-t when my fuel pump died..

After taking the pump apart, a friend told me that the pump had a bunch of junk in it. He asked if I was low on gas at the time, and I told him I just had the car cut out going around a turn because of low fuel..

He seemed to think that since fuel is so nasty nowadays, that the pump sucked up crap in the tank..

Just a thought..
