Looks like the stock shifter to me. Stock shifters suck in our stangs. Steeda or MGW FTW

It's stock. It looks like it used to have a short shifter in there, the bolts holding it in look a little rounded off. [8D]

Get the MGW shifter, also, if the car has gears and they used a Speedcal and didn't set the dip settings right, they usually tuck the box up under the radio...look around for a little box!

Sure looks a lot like my old 02 GT. The guy who bought it signed up here and got in touch with me, but I haven't heard from him in a while. [&:]

Hmmm...well maybe the old owner is a member on this site. I bought the car from the Statesville Auto Auction (Manheim) in North Carolina. It was being sold by Flat Rock Motors.

The Shifter is really easy to install

I think you can handle it man. It's easy just follow the instructions and you will be fine.

shifter=easiest thing to put it. dont sweat it at all. the hardest part is taking off the panel lol and you alreayd did that. now its a matter of taking off bolts and putting them back it.
