engine- short block
I'm looking to get a decent short block.

I am looking at the street fighter series, the ones for about $2200. Would these be good to match up to a set of PI heads/intake, blower cams and eventually a 10-12 psi vortech blower? or should I look at the ones below for $1000 more that have forged everything?

RE: engine- short block
Getting forged pistons and rods, but not a crank is almost as bad as not forging anything... them charging $1000 extra for a forged crank is BS though if you ask me... shop around some more with places like VT engines and check in the mustang magazines for ads... you can probably find a built short block for a bit cheaper than that.
