Default Looking for "hot" ignition wire

I have 3 autometer gauges that need to be wired to a power source that is hot when the key is on. Any ideas? I was thinking the radio but i dont want to put any noise into the system.

Ghetto rig: Lookin in the fuse box, use volt meter to find and just shove wire in there.

I would have to look at mine and see where i put them.. I would seriously suggest searching for what your ignition wire is.. (coming out) that way when the switch is turned over you will get the 12v.. Search for it or check out the manual.

I use the radio fuse on my 98 GT. May not of been the right way to do it but I have had no noise out of the speakers or radio and it works fine. I have AFR, Fuel Pres, and NOS Pres gauges.

you can use a fuse splitter and wire it into fuse 15 i think, its the yellow one for the fuel pump and such. comes on when key is on. i have mine spkiced into the headlights so when i turn them on, the guages come on.

but youre still gonna need a 12v source to run the guages themselves.. not just the lights in the guages...

i have no idea what gauges youre talking about, but a/f uses 1 12v power line, boost uses 1, fuel pressure uses 1...im not sure what youre saying here, splice all gauges into one power line and splice that into your headlights. worked for me. same works with the fuel pump fuse, but having them on all the time is annoying.

Because those are mechanical guages.. if you had a voltmeter.. you would know some of this..
