Default TB question

Just installed pi intake and pi heads on my 98GT, what a big difference. I would like to upgrade my TB to a 70mm. Can I keep the stock plenum. Also, would I need to upgrade MAF. I'm sure I'll need a re-tune.

Default RE: TB question

Definitely go with the new plenum. Of the three intake parts, I think the plenum may achieve the most results by itself. The three parts, plenum, throttle body and CAI are all meant to work best when used together as mentioned above. My new throttle body came alive as soon as I added my new Accufab plenum. I had also previously just used a K&N filter with the air silencer taken out but finally popped for a BBK CAI fender well unit. I did notice a difference over the previous"poor man's" CAI arrangement I was running. Bottom line, make the three way change for optimum results.

Is there anything to know before replacing the TB and plenum? Any fragile parts?
