Default Moving to El Paso (Longtubes OK?)

I'm moving to El Paso, TX in a few days and need to know if my long tubes with catted x pipe will get me by for inspections.

i dont have cats and my exhaust is dumped, and I havent had a problem. even if you do, find a local speedshop and alot of the time they can tell you where to go and have it inspected no problem.

I had my car inspected a few months back in Austin. The inspection guy told me that all they look for are cats.

I persisted with my questioning, "So if I get longtubes and an x-pipe with hi-flow cats then I am still good?"

Inspection tech guy: "Yup. As long as you have the cats and your O2 sensors are connected."

El Paso and Austin fall under the same emissions laws right now. If you have any issues with emissions, just hook up with ANY local car club and they can point you in the direction of a more lax inspection station.
