) the 05-06s do weigh around the upper 3400s to a little over 3600 depending on the model(H/T or vert,auto or stick,shaker500 or 1000).And there is plenty of weight to be shaven wthout hurting the car(Around 200lbs).Hope that helps ya!

Go to different website and you'll see slightly different weights, but those below seem to be consistent. The new GT weight almost 250 lbs. more than the 1999. Which is to be expected. More federal regs which add weight don't help. Gotta love the new Z-06. Mega power.....on a diet. LOL! The Shelby GT-500 on the other hand....egads!
