you most likley need an install kit, when i went down to ford motor sports i asked for gears and then they started adding other things to my purchase
i asked what the hell were they doing and the tech told me that gears dont come with all the new stuff you need, then again i bought my 5.0 gears from a website and i came with everything

whats the rule of thumb as far as how many miles on your car you need in order to get new barings ext... I have like 5 K on mine after a factory re build.

I have heard that 30k or less doesn't require new bearings.. but it's kinda up to the individual.

If your rear end was recently rebuilt you should be fine. But while you have the rear tore apart. I would take a look at your axles. You never know, they may be worn.

i ordered motive 4.10s.....they better be worth it from all the reading ive done lately. when i get them installed im gonna go back to the track. i think ill be 13.3-13.5 worthy. if i can hook up

for my install i got just the install kit. i also have frpp gears. my car has only 7500 miles on it. but since your rear is rebuilt i would just get the install kit. my gears i got didnt come with any shims at all. i got them from www.50resto.com i got the install kit from mustang tuning
