Bent subframe connectors

Bent subframe connectors
I have an 03 mach 1, and the other day i was under it on a lift and noticed the subframe connectors. I am hearing a noise and was looking around for any rub marks and noticed that the SFC on the passenger side has a spot where its rusty (looks like it was heated up) and its bent up to where it is rubbing against the bottom of the car. I dont know too much about them so i was just wondering if that hurts anything or if its negative in any way. thanks

RE: Bent subframe connectors
as long as the sub frames rusted/weakend then bent i wouldnt worry about it. The metal probly got weak enough that it just bent. Just replace em.
What I would worry about is if it bent and then rusted out. because means your chasis is still seeing an unusual about of chasis flex and are not doing there job. this would just be because of a cheaply made subframe connector
Im just going to assume cheap subframes or just a weak metal, and is probly not hurting anything, but should be replaced. Replace with some maximum motorsport XL full length Sub frames connectors or something simular

RE: Bent subframe connectors
I dont know if that would mean theyre cheap. They look brand new except for a spot about 3 in long that has some surface rust from what i assume was heat. If its not hurting anything i guess i will just leave it alone.
