well i was doin a burnout for like 5 mins at 6500 rpm once i got done and pulled over to change the popped tire there was coolant all over my motor i checked the guage it was pegged but it want knockin yet. so 1 hour later i went to leave and get on the highway the guage started getting higher and then it started to knock and the knock just kept gettinglouder *** the guage went up

Don't even bother troubleshooting it.
Park your car, buy a new LONG BLOCK. Next time, keep your rev limiter where it BELONGS and try to keep your burn-outs down to a minimum, because you just cost yourself a couple grand.

ive bounced off the rev limiter once, for a split second and thought that was bad enough, 6,500 rpms w/ a supercharger, ouch. 500 over limit is a lot imo, get a cobra if you wanna ride rpms that high, or a built engine =O

This is why cooling modifications are SO IMPORTANT for supercharged cars. They create heat heat heat heat heat! Even a couple runs over 100+MPH where a lot of extreme heat is being sucked into the engine will absolutely destroy it.
