Default s/c Question...

My buddy has a 98' GT with the 4.6L, is there any way to make a s/c from an 03' cobra fit?
Maybe with a different manifold or somthing?
Thanks

i heard that it is hard to fit and would take alot of money and your better off just buying a kit made for your car...

It'll fit, but it'll take over a grand + hours of locating parts.

Not worth it.

I would like some more info on this also. I have a friend upgrading to a KB an I been thinking about going the VT st 1 with 75 shot and bolt-ons. I might change that to a 03/04 S/C if it only over a grand.

not sure what you mean by 03/04 s/c? You are starting in a hole with that engine, but since that is all you have, you could do cams and spray, but too much and you will have to build your basement and at that point you could s/c it. Sorry, i dont think there are any real easy answers. I have vt stage 1s and wish i would ahve done 2s for the lope-dy lope.

Yea I want the lope of st 2's but its a bad power band for stock shortblocks. I'm a college student and cant build an engine with my funds. After my last 370 whp eclipse I swore I wouldn't tear into the engine of my new mustang but hey you know..... once a tuner always a tuner.....
