yeah, I took mine to Ford and of course they couldnt duplicate the problem so they have it listed in my file incase something goes wrong after the warranty is gone, which was like 7,000 miles ago!

Well, what you're discribing is a 4 barel carb problem....., but since this is 2004, and not 1967, obviously that's not going to be the case this time. You said the problem was in the morning, so that rules out the high temp hurting your fuel system. ... It sounds like it could be several things. a) You're getting low voltage on your electrical, and your engine has to spool up a bit to get itself working properly b)plugs could be getting fouled, which would cause her to act up when at really low speeds, and masacure you're throttle responce, c) the fuel system really does have a problem like was suggested earlier (just not due to heat in your case), and my personal favorite, d) the computer isn't holding it's calibration, and is having to re-learn your car everytime you turn her back on. Since so many of you are having similar problems, you're right when you say it's 'A Mustang Thing,' but if I bought a new car, and it acted like that ..... I'd be in the dealership every day till they got it right. Maybe you guys should gather some names and sigs, and contact Ford Mo Co, or BBB. Something's obviously not right somewhere. GL to all of you. Hopefully they figure it out soon.

Ya ive got an 03 GT and it does the same thing sometimes....ive noticed its mostly right after starting it and then having to turn it off like getting gas or going somewhere and then having to start it up a few minutes later.....i don tknow waht it is but ive found that turning the key to the point where all the dash lights come on and then waiting a second or two to then crankn it up makes it start a little better sometimes...i dont kow though i was just experimenting and it seems to be working but yet sometimes it does fail
