On the front, passenger side of my car I have noticed a noise that sounds like a loose shock/strut. I only hear it when I have to drive on a dirt road, or there is a large bump in the road. I haven't noticed any steering issues. The car drives great, just a noise in the front, right side.

The car is an 04 GT 5 spd. No suspension work done.

 

Any wetness in the wheel well? Could be a blown strut.

 

That is what I was thinking.. i am going to look into it further. I was just looking for some ideas..

 

what have you done to your car?

I have a fender mount CIA and it would squeek against the metal only when i hit bumps

 

mine did the same.....turned out to be a bad balljoint.
