I feel like a dumbass askin this but will our stangs be able to run on that new ethanol? We have 10% ethanol here but what about the new stuff comin out?

from what i have read we would need to just make a few easy mods to the fuel system parts...ethanol is more corrosive then gas so the o rings on the injectors and new lines etc

Well even if it does work in our cars will our cars perform as good as they do on regular gasoline?

Ethanol is higher octane then gasoline so yes! Problem is we are years away from having to worry about any of this.

ethanol sucks as a fuel compared to gasoline. it has less energy per mass than gasoline, therefore it delivers less power and less mileage. that is the main problem. Road & track or car & driver had an interesting article about it's many shortfalls not too long ago. the problem is that we need infrestructure to change fuel types, but nobody wants to spend the money and resources to start that. the government needs to start some sort of program with a couple billion as a budget to get anything started. otherwise, we just have to keep paying gas or pedal to get to work.
