Default 4.10's suspension?

I am seriously thinking about getting 4.10's but still doing some thinking because it is costly. I just wanted to know if I get 4.10's on my 99 Auto mustang gt convertible do i need to do anything with the suspension for it to ride ok? what are the advantages of getting better suspension? What suspension should i get if i do end up buying it? how much does the kit cost? and is it nessecary? will it ride ok without it? what will it do without a upgraded suspension on a 4.10 gear?
