I have a 99 GT and the 3.73 gears was the best mod I've done, for the money and seat of your pants feel. I have a 5spd, but if I had an automatic I would have definately went with 4.10's. A buddy of mine is about to have 4.10's put on his 5spd and I will post opinions on that mod.

If you want louder out of your exhaust definately to catless, unless you have strict emission laws where your at. We dont' have any emission tests where I live so as long as I don't get stupid out on the road and get pulled over I won't have anything to worry about. The catless system will give your Mustang the "nasal hollow" sound, which is tough.

Here is what I would do:

If your are auto go w/4.10's if 5spd. go w/3.73's.

Get the Dynomax Ultraflow Stainless Catback at www.brothersperformance.com it's only $399 shipped. Then for your x pipe I would recommend the Bassani catalytic X. That way you are legal and have the best sounding catted X on the market. And as far as rims go, I would def. go w/18x10 on rear, but would go w/18x8.5 on front for no rubbing issues. Price of rims also depend on finish, if they come w/tires on them, and what design. Expect anywhere from $900 and up for some nice 18" wheels up to $2,000 for top of the line 18" wheels w/tires.
