Wow, I'm amazed. Maybe they were old or defective. I have never heard of any1 giving this tire a 'bad report'. Even if you go on to tirerack.com, all the reviews of them are excellent. One thing as well; if you do burnouts on them at the strip, if the compound gets hot enough, it can actually change the physical characteristics of it. And often the tires won't grip like they once did.

Got them throough tire rack. Fronts (265/35/18) were just over $300 a tire. The rears were about $340 each.
I had driven on the original PS prior, and they weren't as good as these are. They were good, but these have a better turn in.
*These aren't the right tires for you if you just drag race. These are made with very stiff sidewalls for cornering.
