Default Radiator replacement...

what are some good brands of radiators to replace my busted one with? i know fluidyne is supposed to be great but they're pricey as hell...any other alternatives in the <$200 range?

and also...why do some radiators only fit a manual...what the hell does a manual have to do with radiator fitment?

i see tons of them in the less than 200 range? probably not from an actual ford dealership though...everything is highway robery while bent over a barrel with a broken broom stick

I don't know if I'd put an aftermarket "factory" style radiator in my car. I suppose if it was just to replace the factory one and not gain anything I might. If that was the case I'd probably go with the one that had the best warranty.

I have a custom 1" 2 row aluminum "Becool" in mine that was in the ball park of the "Fluidyne".

If I'm not mistaken, one (or more) of the lines for the transmission fluid goes through the radiator in an automatic, to help keep the temperature down... of course, getting an aftermarket trans cooler fixes this problem.
